Love ... I feel LOVED!

You know you are loved when ...

Yoda heard my nose was bleeding a few days back and decides to send packets of liang teh (herbal teas to cure heatiness) from home! (He's been hinting for the past few days and I totally didn't get it!) By the time I received it, the parcel's been sliced up and folded and positively smelt to death by custom dogs. It comes complete with a nice neat little brochure on prohibited items inserted among the postcards.

The poor package looks like it went through hell and back... and proudly certified "I passed quarantine!!"

Thank you Yoda .. .I know you're a busy man but this makes my day! Gifts don't rank high on my love language ... but when I get simple gifts like that ... or handmade ones ... I go all gooey. Call me sentimental, but I'm all for simple heartfelt gifts that don't cost a bomb.

Your friends plan a surprise ambush on you!

They planned it all along ... but I didn't know Tim was going to be there when I met up with J & A .... I botched up all their plans by not being at home, not walking to route where they planted Tim and by spending a heck lot of time grocery shopping while Tim waited ... In the end, Andrea had to stall me by pretending to look at jewellery while Jason called Tim back. He crept up behind me where suddenly I noticed Andrea with a very strange look on her face and when I spun around, I screamed and hit Tim on the shoulder. Haha I know, I don't know why I hit him too. I was too happy to see all of them and to be surprised!

We all happily trooped home to my place where we had great blackforest cake, cinnamon doughnuts and choco milk.

Bliss.


I had a bit of time in the morning before driving to take a walk around Carlton Gardens. God really spoke to me then ... and I believe that the healing has begun. I'm feeling so much happier now.
